This
last Saturday I took my new 14' cube truck which is the same size
as every vendor down there and my truck does not fit in my spot. My
spot has the lowest roof line. I was so depressed. This week I am
going to unload everything and park elsewhere. What a pain! We were
going to get rid of our old truck, we took it to a mechanic and now
it runs better than it ever did. We are going to rebuild the shelves
in Ol' Yeller and I will go back to using her at the market. The new
truck is still good for my twice weekly deliveries. I will also be
able to use at Christmas due to having a different spot at that time. |

Finally
a gorgeous weekend for the market. It was incredible busy and I had
3 young men helping with the sales. |

We were
almost ready to trash Ol' Yeller, we pulled out all the shelves and
had loaded it with scrap metal thinking we would not need her anymore.
When we found out my new truck does not fit in my stall, we emptied
out Ol' Yeller and took her to our mechanic. She has some loose wires
to the ignition and now she runs better than ever. My husband rebuilt
shelves in her and I used her this weekend. We fill the big truck
and put the extras on Ol' Yeller, we quickly unload the big truck
and hubby drives her home. I park Ol' Yeller in my parking space.
This worked out really well. |

| My husband
surprised with this nice gift. A 300 gallon tank that pumps fuel.
Now I can get one load of kerosene for winter and one load of diesel
for the summer. Going to save me some bucks on this. |

This
has been the 3rd. wettest spring on record for us and I am just now
starting to plant. I am at least 2 weeks behind. |

This
week we put out our haywagon loaded with all the leftover veggie
plants. I find it easier to give them away than to dump them. They
all just disappear and it brings me good karma with my friends and
neighbors. Within 2 days I got rid of everything! |

This
week my mum cuttings arrived and my friend and I spent the day potting
these up. They will be ready starting Labor Day.

This
week I went and pulled all my scapes on the garlic. This will
help the garlic produce larger heads and these scapes are delicious
in a stir fry. I will have these for sale this weekend at the
market.
